DescriptionUp for your consideration is a gorgeous pair of late 19th C. French oil lamps, made by Barbedienne, c. 1880 - 1900. The lamps have been professionally converted to electricity, and were exhibited in a midwestern museum. The retain the inventory numbers painted on the pieces from the museum. They are made of solid bronze that has been silvered. I have seen a few examples of these lamps, and this is the only silvered version I have seen. They are neo-classical in design, recently rewired, and ready for immediate use.
SizeThe lamps measure 24" tall to the top of the socket, and 32" tall with the finial fully extended. They are about 8" wide.
ConditionExcellent condition, without dents, ding, or losses. These came from a museum, and have small inventory numbers painted on each piece. The finish is original, and shows light, age-typical wear. These once were oil lamps, and have been converted. The top is adjustable by about 5".Shipping Costs/Terms
