This is a very unique comic book. I didn't notice anything wrong with it at first, I thought it was supposed to look like that. I bought this comic 20 years ago in a giant lot that somebody brought into my bookstore, and hadn't really looked at them sense. Well I decided I needed to start selling some since I needed the space. I finally noticed that this comic didn't have a bar code. So I took it out of the bag to look at the title page and find out what issue it was. I slowly noticed that there was no black ink on the cover page at all, inside and out. Somehow this one missed getting the black ink printed on the cover, and managed to make it out into the world.
The colors can't be from fading since its just the black that is missing. Plus the inside of the cover is just as bad as the outside. Plus if it was from sun fading the red would have been gone.
Just in case you think I'm doing some funny photo editing I put the comic beside today's issue of my local newspaper.
I tried to find another copy like this one. I couldn't do it. I tried reverse image searches. I tried asking people in the big comic message boards. I had no luck. People had seen other comics without the black ink, but not one of this title.
This appears to be a major misprint and might be a one of a kind. I think this comic could be worth way more than I am asking for it. But since I do not know much about comics and how you go about getting them graded and sealed I decided to sell it at a discount.

I am not an expert oncomics, so I do not know the grading scale perfectly. I did work for amajor book retailer on Amazon for years though and graded thousands andthousands of books during that time. The scale we used was: New, LikeNew, Very Good, Good, and Acceptable. I tried to figure out a good condition for this comic. I decided that I would list the important points:

The major flaw in this issue is that the cover is only held on by the upper staple. I tried to photo this.
There is a weirdwrinkle on the back of the cover. I am not sure what caused it. I think it would almost go away if pressed out, so consider this a minor flaw.

The inside of the comic is great. There are no pages missing or anything cut out of it. No rips. The colors look good.
The front cover looks in good shape other than the staple issue. The edges are a little worn, but nothing crazy. There are no folds or tears.
