I am selling my signed Tenacious D record album. My husband and I had the record signed in person by Jack Black and Kyle Gass at the Virgin mega store in Chicago in early October 2001. The record was signed on the reverse side of the sleeve; I don’t remember why they signed on the back of the sleeve, but would guess that it was their choice not mine. The record has been framed and displayed in my home for the past 23 years. It is still in excellent condition showing very little wear and tear. I will ship the record in the frame and include the original photos that I took at the signing.
My husband and I have been collectors of many things over the past 33 years. We collected music and movie related items, first edition books, as well as folk art. Most of the things we collected were signed in person by the celebrity that produced the item. Unfortunately my husband recently passed away, so I will be selling a lot of the collectibles over the next six months. He was sick with pulmonary fibrosis for over two years. I am selling these things to pay down the pile of medical bills that I am still responsible to pay.
