Large Hand Painted Limoges France VasesA beautiful pair of large Limoges hand painted porcelain vases with bronze detailing and handles. To one side of the body is a painted rendition of 'The Swing' by Jean-Honore Fragonard. The other side depicts four figures tending to small chicks, all on a turquoise ground. The neck is decorated with an intricate raised gilt design and a landscape scene enframed by gilt paint. The decoration around the rim, the two floral handles, and raised plinth are all of gilt bronze. A truly magnificent pair of vases.
Excellent condition for its age. No cracks, chips, or repairs. Please refer to the photos for full details please.
