2011 Leaf Metal & 2012 Pop Century. Nothing before it, & nothing since - just a lot of "auto cut" cards cutting out a Trump autograph from a book sheet, or index card, etc & putting it inside a card.Yes there are so called "one of one's" of an "auto cut" card, mostly from Leaf in recent years, & the 2020 Decision product has some numbered to /1 & numbered to /5 auto cut cards of Trump. They are cut out autographs from the autographed page from the Crippled America book & turned into cards & numbered. (See Pic, the 1/1 auto cut card from 2020 is set at $100,000)
But years before any of these recent "auto cut" cards is the 2011 Leaf Metal & 2012 Leaf Pop Century product, where Trump actually held the card, & signed the actual card, thus called an "on card auto". This is incredibly more desirable than a "auto sticker" or an "auto cut" card. Also, the on card auto is his complete beautiful signature, not the condensed "rally signature" of most auto cut cards.

There is a 2005 Comic Images Trump auto card, but it is an obscure production company that made some cards for the Apprentice show, & it is not numbered. PSA refuses to grade it, so the pop report is ZERO, & only allows it to be submitted to their PSA/DNA service for authentication only. So the 2005 Trump auto card is not recognized as an official card, which paves the way for the 2011 Leaf productions to be the clear officially recognized rookie card of Trump. It is similar to the Tiger Woods 1996 SI for Kids vs the more recognized 2001 SP Authentic #/900.
As with sports cards, a true rookie card common consensus is from a major manufacturer.

It's incredibly pristine, but PSA & BGS have been known to punish the "gold canary" surface design. Surface seems really a 10. Regardless, it's a 1/1 so it doesn't matter what the grade is, it's the only one there is. It's truly Trump's Rookie Card for not only being his first card from a major manufacturer, but also for being his NUMBERED ON CARD AUTO RC, & not just numbered, but numbered 1/1
