Quarter-plate daguerreotype of a group of women surrounding a bearded musician who is playing a guitar. The woman on the left is pointing, as if she is keeping time with the music.

This original daguerreotype is in half of a case, behind mat and cover glass. It is in overall very good antique condition. It is unsealed with tarnish/tarnish ring. There is one light scratch in the upper-left area.. you can see it to the left of the woman's head, and in that same area a very short, light swipe.. neither of these small issues jump out when viewing the image normally. The underside of the glass could use a cleaning which should remove the majority of the white specks.
