I have for sale this very hard to find and properly signed Pairpoint reverse painted water scene lamp shade on a signed Hampshire pottery base. This is a great lamp folks as you can see and it very nice original condition. This is a multi colored scene with vibrant colors throughout that lights up way better than i could photograph. the base measures 23 inches tall and the shade is 20 inches wide so this is a full sized lamp folks. the base without any chips or flakes on the exterior and the only flaw i saw, was a couple of small very tight hairlines ( could be factory as I’m seeing glaze over top of the two near the hole for the cord to go through) underneath the bottom of the base which cant be seen anyways, please look closely at the photos. the base in fine working order and recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. No issues in the metalware of the base. Now Onto the shade. The paint quality in the shade excellent and with no sickness nor paint losses to be seen. Also there are no rim chips nor cracks top or bottom and it’s has a great water scene throughout with four, yes four different desirable scenes to chose from when you display it. This is not a common Pairpoint at all, let alone to be found in this condition and on a great Hampshire lamp base.

buyers please remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. Chances are if there aren't any, it's a newer item and you

shouldn't want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some

metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake

missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don't want to do a

refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn't perfect on a

2,000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towards

condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial

issues such as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more

experienced an antique dealer or buyer is, the more understanding of

condition they are. That being said, if you think you're going to be a

difficult buyer because you want perfection in a 100 year old piece,

please purchase another seller's product. has made it very

difficult for sellers in the past few years yet I'm a good seller who
