** Harriet Parsons (1906-1983) was an American film producer, director andmagazine writer. Daughter of famed gossip columnist Louella Parsons.
Kathryn McLean (born Anderson) was best known by her pen name Kathryn Forbes. She was anAmerican writer and memoirist. Her best-known work: "Mama's Bank Account" was publishedin 1943. It was the basis for John Van Druten's 1944 play I Remember Mama. The 1948 film versionof the play starred Irene Dunne as Mama and Barbara Bel Geddes as her daughter.Born: 1908, San Francisco, California; died: 1966, San Francisco, California.
