This was a gift to me in spring of 2019 by the late Reilly Crawford after i had helped him move the contents of the deceased veteran Johnny Walkers estate Whom he had purchased from sale.

I had identified the poster later in the early winter of 2019.

The photographic hand tinted portrait certainly is an important item and i have experienced much phenomena with its historical presence. I dont believe in ghosts but i would say there is something very important and teleological about this. That spring in May 2019 i would buy a lot of tintypes for nine dollars at an estate sale here in Marshall. i thought nothing of them and sold three of the nicer framed daguerreotypes on . It wasnt til mid October 2019 that i was able to discover the identity of the tintypes as being of William Henry McCarty and his family. Then sure enough that led me to identify this portrait of Pat Garrett.
