Here is a very nice and VERY rare Dinosaur Egg Fossil with a Mineralized Dinosaur Embryo Fossil still inside. This is real and not fake, This is NOT a "concretion", but a true Dinosaur Egg that was found in Oregon by the person I got it from.This is one of the very few Dino Eggs with the Embryo still inside. Museum Quality for sure. It weighs 2 pounds and measures approx. 4 x 4 x 2.5 inches. The shape is Asymmetrical and meets all the criteria for an egg fossil. You can also see where the outer egg shell is cracked in several places and how it's broken/cracked around the Embryo. This shows that it's an EGG FOSSIL and NOT a Concretion or Rock.
How to tell a fossil from an ordinary rock:

You can confirm your fossilized egg bylicking it. By just taking the tip of your tongueon the egg surface , you can possibly identify whether what you have is real or not. Fossilized Dinosaurs eggs are expected slightly stick to the tongue. A fossil will be stickier than an ordinary rock because of its porous nature. The one you're looking at passes this test, so no worries.This meets the 3 important criteria for recognizing the validity of a fossilized dinosaur egg: The thickness of the shell is uniform. It is curved, and ovoidal in shape. And, there are tiny pores on the surface with concomitant ridges/bumps called "mammillae." Also, there are cracks in the shell.
