Very fine mahogany tall-case clock with nicely executed inlay and a beautiful brass dial with 8-day movement.
This is a typical east Scotland (Aberdeen or Edinburgh) clock made in the 1790's. These clocks were typically relatively short like this one, so itfits nicely in a room with 8-foot ceilings.Running and keeping good time.Measures 7' 4" total height. Top molding is 11" deep and 21" wide. Bottom molding is 10" deep and 18 1/4" wide.
