Juice a handful of blueberries. Mix the blue juice with seltzer water to make the mocktail sparkle. Add sliced strawberries to the rim of the glass to complete the patriotic look.
Cherry Mocktail Magic
Blend cherry syrup and sparkling water to make a dazzling red drink. Add ice and top the cubes with blue sugar crystals. The kids will get a kick out of the color change magic as the drink melts. As the blue sugar mixes with the ice and liquid it will transform the drink from red to purple.
Ice Cube Color Change
If your kiddos enjoy the color change magic of the cherry mocktail, they’ll love this ice cube option. Drip one drop of either red or blue food coloring into each section of an ice cube tray. Add water, mix the color and freeze. If you don’t want to use food coloring, freeze red and blue berry juices instead. After the water or juice freezes, drop red and blue cubes into sparkling seltzer water and watch as the colors mix and blend.
