1863 Lincoln Hand Carved Wood Plaque

Fabulous hand-carved Lincoln wall plaque, almost fully three dimensional. Shows Lincoln presenting the Emancipation Proclamation, which is breaking the chains of slavery. Masterfully carved, particularly the openwork chains - all carved of a single piece of wood. Circa 1863. There is some surface handling wear but it is in excellent condition. - CONDITION -All items are Original Manufacturing and not reprints or replicas. They are sold as shown in the images and may have foxing, edge wear, or slight metal wear which will be noted in the description. Each individual item in a multiple item listing will have roughly the same wear (if any) and each item may not be represented by the main photograph.
