This was Hand made custom Jerry Busse had made for a old school HOG know on BF as "1whobuys" who is about as close to a Busse dealer as you could get.
Jerry Busse made his first prototype of the MOAB in 2003 but introduced this Monster of a Chopper in 2009 when he made only a few for a show and ganza. These Mother Of All Bowie were never a production knife that could be ordered from Busse Combat. Jerry Busse made this one by hand and hand ground the the Nuclear Spine free hand and than added the 12 Serrations to the 9.85" Sharpened Top Edge. What most people don'e realize is that this is the first series of the MOAB which were the thick version that were about .39" to .415" thick. Being as thick and large as these original MOABs were, they were were one heavy chopper that commanded respect from anyone that held it. But because of the Nuclear Sharpened Top Edge, this Nuclear MOAB is probably the lightest MOAB ever made! This would have all the benefits of the thick MOAB but with a faster swing because it was lighter. This was the ONE and ONLY Nuclear MOAB ever made and is a Full Blown custom that was made to be used. The owner sent this beast to Brian Okuden where he custom made this Black Pancake Style Sheath with a loop for the belt and leg strap. I believe the original owner lightly used this chopper and he did sheath it. When I got this setup, I sent it right to the Busse Combat Custom Shop Shop where I had them touch up the satin finish and sharpened the edge so it's like new again. This has not been sheath since I got this back from the \spa. The handle is the orginal one that was made for this knife which is also the Busse colors which is the Yellow and Black G10. This is the Magnum version and are hand Smoothed/Shaped to fit in the hand better. The Busse Custom Shop has stopped making the .40" thick MOAB in about 2014 and I have not seen one this thick in a very long time. The Blended Convexed Edge is Razor Sharp so very scary with so much weight and size behind it! I purchased this directly from Busse Combat! This has a INFI Steel that is .40" thick with a Flat Ground Satin Blade! This is one monster of a chopper, with this being so thick and long, this is one large and heavy Chopper!This is made of the infamous INFI Steel which is a proprietary Steel is used ONLY by Busse Combat!
