American Heritage Collection, Christmas Ornaments - All 35 pieces 1972-1998:

This is the complete set of 35 American Heritage Society Collection Ornaments. There were several ornaments that were issued in multiple years. There is also one ornament, \"Santa in the Sleigh\" that is not dated and I believe to be brass, but is marked \"American Heritage Publishing Co.\"Of the ornaments listed below; seven have in addition to their original box also have their outer sleeve. Five have their original issue red ribbon, 12 have their original Gorham pouches as well as the Kirk Stieff ornament and seven have their romance card. All have their original boxes except for 97\' Ice Skates.
The ornaments are as follows and I have typed exactly what is on the back of each ornament.

The historic American Heritage series issued from 1972 to 1998. This series originally started with the Gorham Co., the 1981 issued by Kirk Stieff and the remaining issued by The New England Sterling Co. The series, beginning in 1972, was sold by subscription only. Over the years only three prominent sterling silver companies have participated in the design and manufacture of the ornaments. Many of the earlier Gorham ornament designs were sold at retailers but only authentic American Heritage ornaments are hallmarked with the American Heritage logo.
