I am please to offer from my private collection this rare antique Empire Pre-Revolution Tsar's Era FABERGÉ jeweled carved "Day&Night" Agate hardstone MAID OF HONOR Royal Monogram Easter Egg Pendat c1900's.
The egg depicting a solid 14k gold initials MA ,(decorated with over 1ct natural Sapphires),which stand for Dowager Empress Maria (1847-1928) and Empress Alexandra (1872-1918).
The very special Agate hardstone was carefully chosen by FABERGÉ to depicts a "day & night" efect.The one side of the egg is absolutely black and the other side is bright white and looks like the egg yolk shape.
The egg is very massive-24 grams heavy.

Hallmarked with FABERGÉ's hallmark "KФ" and with 56 hallmark for 14k gold.
The egg comes with an APPRAISAL CERTIFICATE FOR $9000.

The egg comes with the original birchwood Easter Egg shaped presentation box ,signed FABERGÉ.

The egg comes with a small present from me-a brand new leather strap with gilt clasp,so it is ready to be wear.

The egg was presented in 1910 to Countess Maria Ivanovna Velio, maid of honor to Empress Alexandra , whose family had a distinguished record of military and civil service to the empire.Young ladies who were appointed as maids of honor (freilini) to the Empress came from the most illustrious families of the Empire. Their fathers served with distinction in either the civil service, the military, or at court. The nomination was thus an honor for her father and her family at large, as much as it was for the young lady.
