I am pleased to offer from my private collection this very rare and probably one of a kind antique Empire Great War Era FABERGÉ presentation large solid silver Easter Egg shaped Tobaco Box container c1914-1915.
The egg was made by FABERGÉ's head workmaster Julius Rappoport.

This unique FABERGÉ egg has been awarded personally by Tsar Nicholas II to General Nikolai Yanushkevich.
General Nikolai Yanushkevich served as Chief of Staff to the Imperial army from March 1914 to September 1915.
The egg comes from his family estate.

The egg depicts the personal monogram of Tsar Nicholas II beneath the Royal Crown and a round emblem with text in Cyrillic" War 1914-1915,K.FABERGÉ".
On the top of the egg stands the Imperial coat of arms-the crowned double headed eagle.

Hallmarked with "K.FABERGÉ" hallmark;with Julius Rappoport initials I.P. ;with the Imperial warant eagle and with the high purity 88 silver hallmark.
The egg is gold plated inside.
