Authentic antique folio photogravure print on paper dating to 1893.Condition is very good and clean on image, for the age, with a few small minor faint creases. Blank margins are in fair condition for the age, showing some finger presses and thumb presses, one prominent stain, and one small crease on utmost left bottom edge blank margin corner. This stain does not show on back of print and is NOT a water stain. The stain is either from a piece of paper, cloth, or dried flower pressed in the book. Print has a binding strip on top back blank margin edge, from being bound, in an art folio book. Print is from an incomplete antique art book. Print is full plate and is blank on back. Blank margins are approximately as shown. Overall size is approximately 12.5 by 18.5 inches with image sizebeing approximately9.75 by 13 inches.

Print is not titled but is known as \" Sunsent\". Artist isHendrik Willhem Mesdag.There is a remarque etching, ofsail boats on the ocean, in blank margins.

Some utmost edge corners are starting to chip when photos were taken ( so they may chip upon shipping item ), very small, so the print could arrive with one or two very small utmost edge corner chips, which a frame shall cover.
