For sale in this sale is an ORIGINAL "1941 HAWAII LICENSE PLATE U8971" which was there at the US NAVAL BASE in PEARL HARBOR on December 7th 1941. This plate was never doctored or touched up and is truly a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The damage is obvious from bomb shrapnel, and thought by experts to be one of the most authentic and original examples remaining. A "one of a kind" if I may say. The license plate frame and GLASS reflectors are period correct, and are included with this sale.This is a treasure that I had stashed away but I have been liquidating all of my historic collection.
