This adorable, Halcyon Days, two piece bonbonniere is a scarecrow, with a green pumpkin head and a carrot nose, dressed as a school teacher. He is wearing eyeglasses, a black mortarboard cap with a red tassel, and a black gown decorated with red, yellow, green, and orange autumn leaves. A book is in one hand and a red apple is in the other. An owl is on his left shoulder. Grass with a border of pencils is on the base, and a crow, on a tree stump, is painted inside. On the bottom is : "Scarecrows take many forms; this one is based on a teacher with a wise owl on his shoulder" and a border of straw. Ithas a diameter of 1.2" (2.2" across) with aheight of 3.7".Inside is: "HD - London" with the artist's initials. It is in mint condition but it does NOT come with the presentation case.
