I am pleased to offer from my private collection this extremely rare and highly collectible antique Imperial Russian Faberge solid 14k gold and hand carved Verdite hard stone Easter Egg "Happy Frog" pendant in original presentation box,St.Petersburg, c1900's.
This amazing egg has been comissioned to Faberge by Tsar Nicholas II and awarded to the famous balerina Mathilde Kschessinska.
She was a mistress to the Tsar before his marriage,and later the wife of his cousin Grand Duke Andrei Vladimirovich.
The egg comes from Kschessinska's family estae.

The Frog is decorated with natura Ruby precious stones in the eyes.

Hallmarked with Faberge's hallmark in Russian and with 56 hallmark for 14k gold.
25mm high without the jumping ring.
12g heavy
The pendant comes with the original luxury presentation box which is decorated with the personal cypher monogram of Tsar Nicholas II beneath the Romanov Crown.
The box is signed in ,Kyiv,London".
You can see on the photo below a similar frog egg sold in Bonhams sale for 7,500.00 GBP (over $10,000.00) in 2015.
