I am pleased to offer from my private collection this important historical antique Imperial Russian Faberge 14k solid gold,Enamel and Diamonds award mens ring with surprise gold plated Easter Egg display presentation box ,St.Petersburg,c1908.
This ring has been awarded personally by the Widow Empress Maria Feodorovna(the mother of Tsar Nicholas II) to Adjutant General Prince E.S.Golitsyn .
The ring comes from his family estate.

The ring depicting the the monogram of M of Empress Maria, decorated with top quality 1.2ct old Rose cut Diamonds.
A lot of sparkles.
The sparkle of old cut diamonds is deeper and warmer, almost glowing in a way that draws the eye into the stone instead of bouncing the light back out. This makes old cut diamonds star performers in candlelight and other low light settings.

The ring is signed with the Imperial Russian 56 gold hallmark,and with KF hallmark in Russian for Carl Faberge.
Excellent condition.

9g heavy.

The presentation gold plated Easter egg also depicting the monogram cypher of Empress Maria. The egg is engraved in Russian " To General Golitsyn-07,XI,1908.
