Here you have a wonderful bit of VINTAGE MOTHER\'S DAY MEMORABILIA! Please...SEE THE SCAN! This is an ORIGINAL 1945 SOLDIER\'S MOTHER\'S DAY POEM. This message came as World War II was about to come to an end and it speaks of a dream in which the world is at peace once more... and then a shell shattered my slumber with its strident scream.... Obviously this was sent in the name of a soldier. It appears that this was likely produced for soldiers in service overseas to send to their mothers. The sheet is large. This measures 13 inches X 10 inches. It has typical vintage edge and corner wear, more significant on the left side. Itwas folded back in the day to send in an envelope...Not mint but gently treated and a tough find! This is a great piece FOR THE COLLECTOR! Take it home with you! GOOD LUCK!
