Sun-kraft Jr Machine Age Sw Uv&ozone Generator - Chicago Circa 1950 Kills Virus:
MACHINE AGE SUN-KRAFT JUNIOR SHORTWAVE UV & OZONE GENERATOR mfg. Chicago, Illinois Circa 1950Don't expect to find one of these anywhere else! We have only seen some half dozen on over the past 20 years so our 6 pieces in stock is a major world find! Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry only has 2 !!! You could easily gift one of these to your favorite museum and take a HUGE tax write off. Really! Here is a Very Rare and Unique Machine Age Device that purified homes and businesses of odors and foul scents also kills mold, fungus and viruses in the air such as Covid by producing large quantities of Oxygen III O3 known as Ozone. It also produces Shortwave UV Ultraviolet 254.7nm Light that as well as tanning your skin. This lamp consumes a mere 20 watts of current and produces more Ozone per watt than ANY OTHER DEVICE KNOWN! It works on the Faraday principle which converts Radio Frequency Microwaves into Shortwave Ultraviolet that in turn excites Oxygen O2 and converts it into O3 . It is also one of the smallest Ozone Generators ever made because of the principle that it operates under. This Very Unique device was manufactured in a small factory located in downtown Chicago on Superior St. during WWII and until the company went out of business in the late 1950's. There were over 120,000 of the standard Sun-Kraft Lamps manufactured over a 20 year period and they were sold door to door for sun-tanning and attaining better health by breathing germ fighting ozone gas. Only some 1,000 of these Sun-Kraft Juniors however were produced of which MOST ARE NOW IN MUSEUMS and PRIVATE COLLECTIONS or else destroyed. If you go anywhere in the Chicago metropolitan area you can find the standard Sun-Kraft lamps ranging from $30.00 to well over $200.00 however you will not easily find a JUNIOR unless you have deep pockets with selling prices typically from $500 to $3500 depending on condition. There was also an earlier Dish Shaped Sun-Kraft which is the model 1A (not the standard A1) which also is rare. Sun-Kraft experimented with other versions of their lamps also, but the JUNIOR remains the most aesthetically beautiful machine age construct because of its very heavy duty Aluminum construction and its small size and its advanced 2 radio tube automatic ignition system which did not require a large startup capacitor as did the other versions of the Sun-Kraft line. This is one of 6 pieces we have in stock and it is MUSEUM QUALITY and TOTALLY RESTORED to near original specifications. The original leather strap has been replaced with a newer leather strap and rebuilt due to the age of the original carry strap on the case. All else is original from the factory as parts originating from the Sun-Kraft people. No additional boxes or cases or instruction books or glasses are being included. The unit stands alone with its original Mercury Lamp and two prong power cord. THIS MAKES A VERY DESIREABLE GIFT TO A DOCTOR, PHYSICS PROFESSOR, SCIENTIST OR INVENTOR if you have a friend or family member who qualifies to these titles. Please do not ask us to lower our asking price. A lot of time went into the restoration and testing of this unit and frankly, a similar output Ozone Generator would put you out of over $800.00 in today's currency and it would not produce the same amount of Ozone for the very small usage of about 20 watts of electrical power. Shipping to the 50 states is $25.00 to cover shipping and insurance and to all International Locations is $68.00 by Registered U.S. International Airmail Insured. Thank You for looking and geez - you won't find another one of these anytime soon EVEN on where the Rare and Unique are taken for granted as being common. MAKES A GREAT COLLECTIBLE and a GREAT INVESTMENT. Remember that NO OTHER COUNTRY or other company in the U.S. ever made a microwave exciter mercury vapor lamp Ozone Generator like this or using this technology. Not in the past or present and probably not in the future either as all microwave gererator circuits are monitored by the FDA for whatever application purposes. Any intelligent questions will be responded to and answered otherwise this is NOT for you. - Scientificos
