Offered is a Vintage Boy Scouts "Illustrated Current News" "Huge Flag Feature Of Flag Day." This photo poster is marked "June19, 1940- No. 4180." It also reads "Published Monday, Wednesday and Friday by Illustrated Current News, Inc., New Haven Conn." This "poster" measures about 19" x 11 1/2". It also reads "HUGE Flag FEATURE OF Flag DAY" "New York City- A general view as 150 Boy Scouts unfurled a huge American Flag in the Court Of Peace at the New York World's Fair during the Flag Day exercises. The Flag was the largest ever seen at the fair. 1,000 school children and thousands of others participated in the ceremonies." This very RARE photograph poster of the Boy Scouts is in excellent condition, with only light creasing. This is hardly worth mentioning since there is very little of it at all. This Boy Scout item comes in it's original mailer. The mailer reads ""Illustrated Current News Inc. and was sent to the Temple Garage, 156 W. Cortland St., Jackson, Mich." This vintage original News Poster is quite rare. Don't let this one get by. A great addition to your collection.
