RARE AND VERIFIED CERATOPSIAN EGG FOSSIL FROM WASHINGTON STATE.Afer doing a LOT of research, this is a true dinosaur egg fossil from Washington State. It came from the Quinault Indian Nation who had it for thousands of years.This Egg Fossil came from the Ceratopsian Species and due to its size, weight and shape is most likely from theCHASMOSAURUS and NOT a Triceratops as previously thought. There has been no evidence of any Triceratops egg fossils or nesting sites being found and verified by Paleontologists. Anyone claiming they have one of these should be questioned as to where they found it and how do they know. So do your own research about these.
This is from the Late Cretacious Era in which Ceratopsian Dinosaurs roamed in what's now known as Washington State.The color of the egg shell is a dark ash gray with shell remnants, large to medium large sized cracks throughout the shell with some seperation to them as you can see. There are small pores all along the textured surface and you can see th exposed embryo that has a different texture and look to it.The shape is oval and weighs 2 lbs and measures 4 x 3 x 3 inches.
