Entitled \" arm of the cross \" this painting was done in Spain while Frank was there learning the old world Spanish style of painting !! This painting was framed by the artist in the 70s and the cost of the frame was $250 back then , he told me that he had given it to his stepmother and his stepmother passed away and his sister got it , and then she passed away and he didn\'t know what happened to it !! Frank Gauna has passed away, but I was fortunate enough to have a relationship with him towards the end of his life, and he was able to tell me when the painting was painted and where he painted it , and the title , I thought it was a bird in the barn, but it is a religious painting, of a dove on the arm of the cross ,,, look closely to the right on the beam of wood , And you will see a round nail Hole with red blood stain running down !! We became good friends before he passed away, we talked on the phone a lot and I really don\'t want to sell this painting, I believe it\'s worth a lot more, but I am in need of money at this time, and have regretfully decided to sell it, so if you see the beauty of this painting then you know that it\'s worth a lot more than what I\'m asking for , to me it\'s priceless !! Frank Gauna was known for doing a lot of album covers and company logos and artwork in the 60s and 70s, and is a well-known artist! His paintings are rare because he didn\'t do a lot of them , his art is mainly on album covers so you\'ll rarely find a Frank Gauna Original!!
