This fun Russian Santa Claus is hand carved and hand painted by the artist creating this Santa riding on this brightly colored tiger. Santa is a wearing a red and gold suit with a blue/green shapka cap. Santa is holding a fat, colorful, tropical bird and has a wicker backpack on his back - could that backpack be filled with toys or Santa\'s lunch?!? This Santa statue is lightly lacquered so it is easily cleaned and protected.This artist who creates these wonderful works of art, is one of the few who does his own carving as well as painting, and this long, extended tail is very unique!
