PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PHOTOSA beautiful, Victorian scrap book dating circa 1880. It is very large and heavy. It measures approx. 15\" x 12.5\" x 2.5\" thick. The cover is tatty and split along the spine. All the pages are detached and brittle at the very edges but the scraps and cards are in very good condition with just a couple with small damages.There are 59 sides with scraps and cards, bear in mind these pages are very large. I have counted 216 cards which include a Canine Congratulations card which is very unusual, some beautiful open out cards, paper lace, Christmas, birthday, new year, and some advertising cards for Louis Keller, Pork Butcher in Hull. There are approx 297 scraps ( I\'ve not counted some of the very tiny ones) of which there are shells, birds, nests, trees, china/pottery examples, animals, flowers,clowns, dogs, cats, sailors, mail coach, elephant. Scotts Guards pipers 9.5\" and 8\", horses, hunting. There are two very large die cut scraps of the Montgolfier balloon and a young girl playing a piano with children singing and a dog. Both of these are over 12\". There are also approx. 34 pictures and engravings / prints.When packed it weighs about 6kg so it is very heavy. A beautiful, Victorian scrap book dating circa 1880. It is very large and heavy. It measures approx. 15\" x 12.5\" x 2.5\" thick. The cover is tatty and split along the spine. There are 59 sides with scraps and cards, bear in mind these pages are very large.
