Signed on the verso of a 7 ¾” x 12 ½” one page legal document, dated Frederick County, Md. 1804, in which he represents a creditor attempting to collect a debt. On the verso Key writes in full: “Wm. Ritchie file this and fill up blanks by writ.—yrs. F.S. Key”. Three folds and scattered age wear, otherwise very good condition.
