African Handmade Large Bolga / MARKET BASKET w/ Leather covered Handles. These beautiful baskets are functional and sturdy. Great for groceries, small ones can be used as lunchbasket or purse, as they won\'t collapse all over your car! Put them in water to soften and shape them, it also keeps them from getting brittle after many years of use. I have photographed them with a standard 12oz soda can so you can estimate size better. Colors of stripes are Gold/Yellow, dark purple and Magenta. Approx. measurements for this basket: 14\"diam.at opening, 8.75\" H measurement does not include height for handle. Made from Elephant grass. *These are handmade and each one is unique in shape, size and color, you are looking at the exact basket that you will get, I photograph each one separately. Due to the handcrafted nature, baskets may have irregularities. If some irregularities are more than usual, then I mark down the baskets from the cost of a more regular specimen.
