This is a CD-R kit that contains JPEG images for constructing approximately (150) paper model buildings and structures each in HO (1:87), N (1:160), OO (1:76) and Z (1:220) scale. There are also (16) models in O (1:48) scale and instructions for converting these graphics into S (1:64) scale. This is a print, cut out and assemble project and is designed for hobbyists and students who are looking for a quick and affordable way to create multiple structures for train layouts, wargaming scenery, school projects or emergency responder training scenarios.Create your own urban sprawl without spending hundreds of dollars on plastic or resin kits. Some miniature modeling experience is recommended.
These buildings were originally sold as individual projects. I am now offering ALL of these structures on one CD-R. Includes SKYSCRAPERS, HOMES, OFFICES, RESTAURANTS, CONDOS, GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS, HOSPITALS, POLICE/FIRE STATIONS, SCHOOLS, APARTMENTS, GAS STATION, FACTORIES, STRIP MALLS, WAREHOUSES and RAILROAD STATIONS. Architectural styles range from turn of the century, mid-century to today.Other projects on this CD-R include a FUTURISTIC CITY, an ABANDONED CITY with burned out buildings as well as historical structures including THE ALAMO (complete with chapel and fort), PORT ROYAL (a pirate town circa 1700’s), AMERICAN CIVIL WAR BUILDINGS, LA HAYE SAINTE (Waterloo) and an American WESTERN TOWN.These 3-D structures may also be modified to use as a facades in your layout. You can also combine the building parts to make even more structures, so the possibilities are limitless. All of the buildings shown in these photos were constructed using the structures contained on the CD-R.
Required tools and supplies include adhesive paper, inkjet or laser printer, durable card stock, scissors, white glue and exacto knife (with help from an adult if you are a child). Any software program that can open and print JPEG files is sufficient. Simply print the images on to adhesive paper or card stock for assembly. PC and Mac compatible. The graphics on this CD-R are my own original computer drawn artwork and will come to you on a CD-R disc with jewel case. Exploded views are included on the CD-R for easy assembly. ALL of the buildings come in HO, N, OO and Z scale.There are also 16 O (1:48) scale buildings available on this CD-R.O scale images are on a 11\"x17\" canvas.For S scale (1:64), simply reduce the O scale (1:48) models on CD-R by 73.5%.A scale conversion chart is included for additional scaling.
All of these buildings are complete color 3-D structures and were designed and drawn by me on a computer. They are not photographs or CAD renderings of buildings. This project is intended for both beginners and experienced hobbyists who are looking for a quick and dirty way to assemble multiple scale structures without breaking the bank.
