These unfinished clavos are made of hand-forged iron. Each has a strong ribbed nail welded to the underside.These are sturdy nails. Not furniture tacks. They be used for restoration projects, doors, barn doors, frames, furniture,window frames...
When applying the clavos to your project, you will need to drill a pilot hole and tap in with a rubber mallet. If you want to weld to something, you can easily snip off the stem.
Please note that these are hand-crafted and each one is hand-forged. Please know that all stems will not be exactly centered. There may be areas of visible rust and the stems may be bent a bit.
