I bought this vintage 5-string banjo in 1959 while a freshman at U.N.C. Chapel Hill

from the grandson of a Veteran of the army of north Virginia ,The Confederate army

it has hung on my wall ever since - soon to be 50 years

I do not see any name or markings look at pictures
