A exotic exquisite Middle Easter tent or wall hanging textile, dates to the mid 1800s and very rare!. This hand embroidery large textile has been in our family for over 100 years, its been in our late relatives property in France for many years folded and kept safe resulting in untouched vivid bright colours. The hanging is designed in the shape of a Islamic Mosque arches with tigers surrounding the border of the textile and larger tigers guarding the arch ways, the main body of the hanging is a beautiful back cotton with vibrant silk floral flowers, it is truly a special piece. Large 8ft by 4.5ft. We are selling for the first time and we sadly cannot display an item of this size. Textiles a quarter of this size! fetch double these prices!
