These Rare U.S. SENATE CHAMBER PASSES were found tucked inside an envolope from the U.S. House of Representatives. The passed are dated Aug. 1, 1929, and both are signed by then-U.S. Senator and future U.S. VICE PRESIDENT Alben W. Barkley. The passes have ornate engraving and are in excellent condition. They are 4-1/8\" across. They are free from bends, and show only slight signs of aging. These are guaranteed authentic. Envelope is not thought to have originally housed these passes, but is included here as a curiosity. Alben W. Barkley gave the keynote address at the 1948 Democratic National Convention, and served as Vice President under President Harry S. Truman. He did not run for president folling his term of V.P., because of his advanced age. These are rare souvenirs from his days in the U.S. Senate. Both items for one offer, with envelope.
