Nice! A very fine collection of Decorative Porcelain Plates. It has Gold trim on the rim and beautiful portraits of birds. There is a different bird on each of 4 plates. A pink/apricot around the rim becomes light color to white as the background for the bird portrait. The Gold trim has 8 beautiful draping gold dollies. The plates are 10 inch diameter. Very Beautiful! It gets an Excellent Condition on most, but with some it is Very Good Condition.
The birds are: Snowy White Owl perched in a forest. Brown/Black Rooster on the ground. Yellow-headed and tailed Red Breast on a branch. Gray Sea-bird on a rock by the ocean.The marks are \"O. & E.G.\" on top, \"Royal\" surrounded by a wreath, and \"Austria\" on the bottom.The letters stand for Oscar and Edgar Gutherz. Production was between 1889 and 1914. Genuine antiques! See photos.
