It is up to the buyer to know if this is true or not. The plates I am selling do have crazing. They are approximately 10 inches diameter. I show a picture of each plate\'s possible issue.1. Plate #1 with a darker color spot under the glaze so there when manufactured.
2. Plate #2 with likely very small chip on underside edge.
3. Plate #3 with very small chip on edge as indicated in the listing.These plates were in a display cabinet and only taken out for very special occasions. The last 35 years or so they just sat in the cabinet never being used. Thanks for looking.THE FOLLOWING IS THE COPIED DESCRIPTION:
You are looking at an Authentic Made in America Marcrest Cozette Swiss Chalet 10\" glazed hand painted ceramic dish with the rare and hard to find Swiss Alpine pattern.First made by the Stetson China Company, it was then bought by Marcrest China who changed the pattern name from Swiss Chalet to Swiss Alpine.Made in the 1950s, plate exhibits some fine crazing to further document it\'s age. Colors boast of beautiful blues and greens. Bottom of plate has stamp of Made in America Hand Decorated with their American Eagle logo.Plate has no chips or cracks.Add to your collection or would make a great gift for any collector!Thanks for looking!
