Up for saleare a set of five (5) solid sterling silver (0.925 fine) Francis I (Francis 1)flat butter spreaders by Reed & Barton.They measure 5-7/8 inches in length, weigh 161.3 grams (5.18 Troyounces) for the set, and have the old Eagle-R-Lion hallmarks. These do not have the patent date. There are no monograms or removals. The items pictured are the actual ones youwill receive, although the hallmark detail is a stock picture I took from oneof the many items I have up for sale.As these are used, there may be some light scratches and tarnishpresent, but I will leave that up to the winning buyer to polish.
