Ornate Vintage 14K Art Deco .75 Ct Diamond Ribbon Swirl Cocktail Ring~Size 6.5 Description

This is a unique antique cocktail ring, with an elaborate, ornate face and diamonds everywhere! It is solid 14k yellow gold, and dates to the 1930s - 1940s. It\'s beautiful on the hand, with a great presence. The photos truly don\'t do it justice.

The mounting appears to be handmade, with swirls of gold and lots of detail. The focal point is a large diamond measuring 4.2 mm (about .30 ct). It is set in a 6-pronged head. It appears to have a chip running down the pavilion which is situated strategically under a prong--when viewed from the top, it looks like a white inclusion.

Set within the gold swirls around the main diamond, are diamonds ranging in size from 2.8 mm (.08 ct) down to 1.7 mm (.02 ct). The diamonds are half burnished down into the face, but are also prong-set (not sticking up). Total diamond weight is approximately .75 ctw. The diamonds are bright and fiery, graded by our experienced estate jeweler as G/H/I in color, and VS2 to SI1 clarity, ALL EXCEPT the main diamond, which because of the chip, shows a white inclusion and would be considered I-1 in clarity.This unique vintage ring measures 3/4\" top to bottom and it sits up 1/4\" off the hand. It is hallmarked with 14K and maker\'s mark of K B inside two intersection diamonds shapes (I attempted to research the maker but came up short). It weighs a hefty 5.6 grams, and is a size 6.5. This ring is in very good vintage condition, and and can be sized by any competent jeweler.
