A Huge Vintage French Tapestry of a Verdure Scene, which depicts a forest. This Tapestry is stunning and has come from a Chateau in France. This is of an exeptional size and quality.
It has been machine woven in the Aubusson Style which gives it a lovely woven affect. This dates around 1960, so not in a brand new condition, although its in a very, very good clean condition for its age, with no fading and nicely bright colours, Some photos have come out a little on the blue side, so first 7 photos are closest to the true colour, but cant always be exact.
It has been backed with a brown cotton and is edged with an atractive border. It has hanging bars to rear. A really charming item. This is still available new, and retails for over 2000 Euros
