This is a very raremenRolex 9k gold \'Coin Edge\' Precision with light cream Dial, this model was one of the top of the precision range and was fitted with the Rolex 1210 17 Jewel manual wind movement. These movements are highly accurate and reliable and will give over a lifetimes service. The watch comes with a high quality Brown Creamstitchedleatherstrap and is accompanied with apresentationBox. This is a beautiful, cared for andslightly usedexample with only the minimal restoration, making this a stunning watch to own.
CASE
The solid 9k gold full size case is insuperb condition with only the slightest signs of wear, the case measures a large 34mm with out the original signed Rolex dust crown. The case is signed
DS&S followed with the correct hallmarks 9 375 d, this was thesignature of UK case makers D Shakman & Son who made many cases for Rolex. The case serial number is 10023 dating the watch to 1953.These cases are often excessively over polished and lose complete definition, this does not apply to our watches as we have a top restoration service.
DIAL
Light Cream with gold faceted baton indexes, Here we have the original Rolex Precision dial which has been expertly refinished to the highest standard and it is in excellent condition. The dial is signed “Rolex Precison”,“Swiss Made. It is simply stunning!
STRAP/BRACELET
The Brown - Creamstitchedleather 19 cm Approximately, strap fitted is a new Brown leather the buckle is matching gold plate. If you would prefer a different style strap, please let us know and we will do our best to assist.
MOVEMENT
The original high grade Rolex 1210 17 jewel manual wind movement, which is particular accurate, reliable and strong is in superb conditionand is working perfectly. The movementhas been thoroughlyserviced and calibrated by our in-house master watchmakerand is warranted for 12 months. Movement is signed Montres Rolex SA,Geneva, Swiss,17 jewels. These movements last a lifetime and more.
