This Erector set Locomotive has been with me since I was around 10 years old, given to me by a friend of my father and due to my strong interest in trains and Erector sets!Obviously it is missing the boiler which I never had. For a long time I had some cans painted black on it. Now with you can sometimes find the spare parts for these to make a fully finished vintage Loco. All of what you see in the pictures will be included. The booklets have survived complete with authentic tatters. The color cover is there also partly torn up. As for the condition, I only dusted it off with a paint brush and vacuum cleaner. There is a layer of slight greasy gummy stuff on some of it which I have not tried to remove but it looks like alcohol will do the trick so you can do this restoration work. I have not run the motor but I remember running the motor around 1964 or so. There are a couple of parts you can see that may go to to the tender but I don't know on that.Other than that please note that I always pack very well and have been doing so for over 8 years with .
