ANTIQUE PAIR ofBRASS ANDIRONS ~ FIRE DOGS
This elegant pair of pierced andiron or fire dogs in brass havea typical Art Deco shape and pierced design of an elongated diamond with diamond shapes toits edge. The centre cushioned part has two domes which are the front of the screws to hold the rest bar in place. The back of the rest bar upright is in a pyramid shape.
They have not been cleaned by machine so have the soft patina of aged brass.
They stand 11\" high x 5 1/8\" across the foot x 7\" to the back. Together they weigh 1229g.
In great usable condition. Some age related dark marks, dings and fine scratches.
