I create what I love.\"Anck-su-Namun\" was inspired by the character in the 1999 film \"The Mummy\". She started as a loose, nude School\'s Out! Cleo de Nile doll (\"before\" pic) that I picked up from . I knew from the moment I saw her who she needed to be. I stripped her paint and sanded the bumpily \"panties\" off -- they\'d look a little strange with the skimpy costume she would wear.In the movie, the Pharaoh had Anck-su-Namun painted gold so no man could touch her. This Anck-su-Namun was painted with high-quality acrylics and pastels, dusted all over in a layer of powdered gold pearl-powder. Her toe- and fingernails are painted gold and sealed with clear gloss. Her whole face has been repainted with great attention to detail. Her eyes have been sealed in gloss for a wet look. She\'s been sealed with top coat made for resin and plastic dolls, so you can touch her without fear. Just no rough stuff. She\'s nobility.The Anck-su-Namun listed here has had a hair cut and restyle: I carefully removed the gold strands and some of the blue, leaving only a few because the contrast looks nice. Her hair was then straightened and trimmed to approximately the length in the film. Her head dress is hand-beaded, involving real gold chain and beads. The asp head topper is handmade, dipped in several layers of faux gold. It\'s fixed in place with a sharp pin-point that should be handled with caution if removed. For this reason this doll is NOT safe to give to children. Adult collectors only, please. Like her muse, Anck-su-Namun can be dangerous if dealt with improperly.Anck-su-Namun\'s necklace is a real gold chain with a handmade pendant. Her armbands, wrist and ankle cuffs are all made the same way, triple-layered in faux gold. Because they are handmade they are not factory-perfect: The top bands are a bit heavy and can slip down. If you position them high, they stay put with gentle handling. If you pose her and leave her alone they\'ll stay up just fine. Her beaded belts are on stretchy beading cord so you can slip them on and off easily and layer them as well but they also feature lobster clasps if you don\'t wish to stretch them out. Her skirt is brown jersey-knit cloth. Any of these items can be removed and put on other Monster High dolls but handle with care as they\'re the only set.Anck-su-Namun includes:
