This is an antique , partially polished, brass and enamel inkwell of the Arts and Crafts, secessionist, Art Nouveau period. It is unmarked but similar pieces online have been attributed to Austrian, continental or English origin. It was likely retailed by Liberty & Co in the early 1900s. It has riveted corners with a brass body with secessionist and arts and crafts design patterns. It has blue/green/white enamel accents on the top and front. The glass inkwell insert is missing. It measures approximately 3 3/4 inches wide, 4 1/2 inches long and about 3 inches high.
