ENOCH WOOD TEAPOT

Measures Approx: - 10l x 4 3/4 w x 6h Inches

PA Estate Fresh early 1800's Enoch Wood and Sons Burslem transferware Teapot. Shows a back from the hunt seen, with the hunter handing off a bird to either the help or wife, with the dogs and the horse along side of him.....great early scene. We are offering this piece with .

*Marked on the bottom Enoch Wood & Sons Burslem and the number 3. The firm was Enoch Woods and Sons from 1820 to 1846.

*Shows usual age and wear. Two hairlines have developed that run from side to side around the front. They do not look to be repaired to us and seem tight. Light usual chip as shown as well as a tiny bite to the lid. Finale is great with no repairs as well as the spout. Please keep in mind that this is a 167+ year old piece.
