ANTIQUE FIGURAL NAPKIN RING, MONKEY DRESSED IN FINE CLOTHESThis antique American figural napkin ring is a difficult one to find. The figure is a monkey dressed in fine clothes, including a cutaway coat, tri-cornered hat, and a fancy cane. The figure stands next to the ring on a rectangular base. This innovative napkin ring was made by the Toronto Silver Plate Company.Their mark can be seen in the last photograph. This is a fairly large figural napkin ring. The height is 4 inches and the length is 3 inches. The napkin ring is pictured and discussed on page 64 of the book \"Figural Napkin Rings\" by Gottschalk and Whitson.
