Description This week I have a sample of antique miniature oil lamps pictured in the most common reference books written by either Smith or Hulsebus. Be sure to take a look at all the photos of the lamp as they are part of the description. An example of this lamp is shown as figure #274 on page 130 in Smith Book #1. The book description for the lamp reads as follows: \"Milk glass with embossed design; fired on green paint; Nutmeg burner; 7-3/4 inches high. Found also with reddish paint.\" The font and shade are in perfect condition with no damage at all. The burner wheel markings on this example are \"P&A MFG CO.\" The chimney offered with this lamp is also in great condition with a fire polished scalloped top opening. Do not let this beautiful example get away. Look the photos over carefully and be sure to ask any questions if you have some. These lamps were manufactured at a time in history when quality control was not at its height. Many of these lamps have flaws in the glass which are original to the lamp and are not damage. Overall: The lamp is in excellent condition.

Color: White milk glass with green fired on paint with brass collar and burner.

Paint: Good paint on this example.

Brass: The brass has not been polished on this item.

Soil: This item has shelf dust on it and it has not been cleaned. That will be left up to the high buyer.

Shipping

Shipping is to be paid by the buyer. Shipping charges will be officially quoted after the items are packaged in a box at the end of the sale. The shipping estimate provided in this sale can change. Shipping costs are quoted for Priority Mail on most items. I wrap and box the items as securely as I can. I never charge a handling fee and there are never any hidden charges. Bank checks will be shipped immediately, Personal checks can be held until clearance is verified.

For international orders, insurance is only available if International Priority Mail is used. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer\'s responsibility. Please check with your country\'s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to offerding/buying.

Refunds

Please offer only if you intend to honor your offer with payment. All items are sold \"As Described\". I do my best to describe all items accurately. However, mistakes and oversights can occur. Returns will be accepted within 3 days if item is found to be not as described, this doesn\'t cover breakage in shipping. If a resolution can not be made, refunds will be given, and will include the original offer amount and shipping cost. Refunds will be given once the item is received and verified to be in the same condition as when it was sold.
