For sale isa Antique Chinese Early Republic PeriodPin Bowl w/ Fencai Enamels Decoration. The bowl isStamped with an artist mark. Bowlis decorated with a singular hibiscus flower and one butterfly on a celadon ground. These are feminine decorations and the bowl was probably used on dressing table to hold hair pins.It is executed withheavy Fencai enamels in yellow, puce and green.The hibiscus is a symbol of happiness. The platewas probably made for export circa 1900 to 1920for common use. Bowl isinvery goodcondition with no chipsor cracks, but the base rim is rough which is normal for use and period. It measures 5\"in diameter and 15/16\" tall. Thisbowl could be older but I am basing my date on research(watersilkdragonChinese Ceramics in the 20th Century),and previous examples of this type work and design.

Promotional shipping rule does not apply to International Orders I pack very carefully and guarantee safe arrival or I refund all costs after confirmation of breakage (this means take a photo of the damage and save the broken pieces for an insurance claim) and only if Priority Mail Service is used. DO NOT try to abuse this policy. Sorry but we do not ship on Saturdays anymore, if you buy on Friday evening I cannot ship USPS until Monday morning. I do combine shipping. I try to ship as cheap as possible but it is more important that your purchase arrive safely. If you think the shipping is too high let me know. We DO refund overpayment. These are vintage items that have been cleaned if possible but that may have been exposed to a smoking Environment and to pets at one time or another.
